Dmitry Razorenov

Managing Partner

Prior to founding Lime Capital, Dmitry began his career in All-Russian Automobile Alliance (AVVA) in 1996, where he was in charge of establishing strategic alliances with western manufacturers of cars and components in Russia. Representing as a Board Member the largest shareholder in AVVA and at the same time AVTOVAZ, he led the development of the latter's strategy on export markets and the set-up of new platforms for manufacturing Lada cars outside of Russia (Finland, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Ecuador, Egypt). With his direct involvement, the first ever JV in the Russian car history was established together with General Motors for the manufacture of the Chevrolet Niva in the town of Tolyatty, which to this day is considered as the most successful project of GM in Russia. Dmitry has also initiated and directly advised the structuring of the sale of a 25% share in AVTOVAZ to its strategic partner Renault.

Dmitry continued his career as the Vice-President of Vneshtorg Bank, the 2nd largest bank in Russia, where he supervised the bank's strategic involvement in industrial projects.

Upon deciding to become a private investor, Dmitry became the Managing Partner in Arlan Investment Fund with core assets in Agriculture (Dairy, Agro-tourism) and Mining, including the largest active gold mine in Russia "Pavlik". Focused on expanding his geography of investments and diversifying his investment business, Dmitry, together with his partners, founded Strategic Initiatives Capital Partners, advising on large M&A deals between companies in Russia, Europe and Middle East as well as investing its own capital into projects of car-distribution and retail, food production and distribution, agro-equipment distribution, financial services in European countries and in Russia.

Tom Seepers

Managing Partner

Tom Seepers is Managing Partner at Lime Capital Partners. Tom has both board and operational responsibilities in our portfolio companies including as Group CEO, Board Member of Dodoni, and participating in the boards of other LCP investments. In addition, he selects and leads new investment projects and supports the management of our companies. Prior to the establishment of Lime Capital Partners, Tom helped build Strategic Initiatives Capital Partners, a private investment company focused on investments in the food, agri, mining and automotive sectors, and on M&A advisory. Before working in private equity, Tom spent 10 years in investment banking / corporate finance, including nine years with Citigroup Investment Banking / Schroder Salomon Smith Barney based in London where, as a Director with the Global Industrials Group, he advised on and executed M&A and financing transactions around the world from Brazil to Australia, in various sectors ranging from construction materials and mining to consumer products and property. During 1995 to 1999, Tom gained his first business experience in Russia when establishing and heading the Moscow-based operations of an international consulting group, covering both multinational and Russian clients. He has a Masters in Business from the Rotterdam School of Management and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

Alexander Zaikin

Managing Director

Alexander Zaikin has more than 18 years of experience in Russian and international banking system with an extensive background and thorough knowledge of investment banking, structured and trade finance and M&A transactions. Alexander started his career at the IB department of VTB Bank, one of the leading Russian financial institutions, where he worked closely with top Russian corporates, originating and executing M&A strategies, investment projects and capital financing, and took part in the execution of approximately $1,5 billion in M&A and LBO transactions, and $2 billion in financing transactions in different industries. Continuing his career as the Head of the Credit and investment department at International Investment Bank (IIB), a multilateral development investment bank, Alexander was in charge of all project financing, syndicated loans and credit deals in support of shareholders' countries' policy objectives and managed cooperation with other MDBs such as EBRD, EIB and IFC. Alexander graduated from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation (Institute of International Economic Relations) in 2002, later taking his Degree of the Candidate of Sciences in economics in same university in 2005.

Nikolay Chekalkin

Investment Director

Nikolay Chekalkin has 10 years of experience in Investment Management and Business Restructuring. He covers all steps of investment projects for the company, starting from Investment Deal management to leading projects as CEO. Wide industry coverage, focusing on Food sector, Agriculture, IT, Automotive and Pharmaceuticals. Nikolay has worked on projects in various countries including Russia, Greece, Cyprus, Ukraine, Finland. He has graduated from Moscow State University of International Relations (“MGIMO”) in Russia in 2011.

Evgeny Borodkin

Investment Director

Evgeny Borodkin has over 15 years of experience in Russian and International M&A and Private Equity, mainly focused on structuring and execution as the company’s CFO as well as restructuring and value creation as part of the management team of the portfolio companies. Prior to joining Lime Capital, Evgeny worked in the M&A department of Citigroup covering Russia, in the RMBS/ABS structuring department of JPMorgan covering the CEEMEA region, and in the Business Valuation department in Ernst and Young in Moscow. Evgeny’s main industries of experience are Food, Agriculture, Retail, Automotive, and Infrastructure. He has a Masters in Financial Markets from Higher School of Economics, Moscow, and a Masters in Management and Economic Science from Humboldt University, Berlin.

Irina Lobuzova

Investment Manager

Irina Lobuzova has over 10 years of experience in private equity, M&A, and debt & equity public markets in Russia and abroad. Prior to joining the Lime Capital team, Irina worked in Aton Capital Partners private equity fund where she was responsible for pipeline generation, valuation, deal structuring and monitoring portfolio companies as a board member. Irina has also worked in IFD Kapital, monitoring and advising portfolio companies, Dresdner Kleinwort’s M&A department, Troika Dialog Asset Management closed-end real estate fund, and in Troika Dialog Investment Company in the primary debt and equity department. Her main focus is food, retail, IT, media-for-equity and real estate. Irina has a MSc degree in Economics and Financial Markets from the National Research University Higher School of Economics Moscow, and MSc degree in Management and Economic Science from Humboldt University, Berlin.

Joseph Croucher

Investment Analyst

Joseph Croucher is an investment analyst for Lime Capital, working across projects and departments to perform research and analysis on the various markets and investments opportunities in which the company has interest. After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2019, Joseph began working for a FinTech in London that operated a micro-investment platform, successfully starting an EMI entity within the business. As a Lime Capital investment analyst, Joseph has worked on projects in Greece and Cyprus, with a focus on the agriculture and pharmaceuticals sectors.
